[OS X TeX] How to get xasy to run?

Murray,

As a postscript to my earlier comment, here's some additional information.
Section 11.1 of the Asymptote manual indicates which Python packages are
required. When I used "pip3" to install those, this seemed to be all that
was needed to allow my xasy command to run.
