[OS X TeX] TeXShop 3.99 Open Recent Problem solved

After Herb Schultz showed that my problem of Open Recent menu failing in TeXShop 3.99 was not a general problem, I deleted the file, ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.recentitems.plist, and restarted. Everything now works. Thank you Herb.

After downloading TeXShop 3.99, Open Recent does not show recent files that that I have opened in TeXShop. Open Recent works in other applications such as Bbedit and worked in prior versions of TeXShop. I am running 10.11.6, the most recent version of El Capitan.

Howdy,

I just checked on a 2012 11" MacBook Air running macOS 10.11.6 (El Capitan) and have no problems with the File->Open Recent menu with TeXShop 3.99.

Can you give us more details about your system?
