Howdy,
First go into ~/Library/texmf/tex/latex and move all the folders found there (especially the OzTeX 5.1 and marSLIDEv1.0 folders) to the Desktop (or a folder on the desktop). That should do it.
PS: what other folders do you have in ~/Library/texmf/tex/latex?
I'm not sure what marSLIDE is and don't know if you are actually using it but it supplies an old version of the geometry package.
