[OS X TeX] texdoc

texdoc works OK for me, on a Mac with Sierra.

BTW When you use the menu item in TeXshop to show or display help for a package
it is texdoc working underneath that does the work to find the PDF file(s) for
the package you are interested in. So this is a vital piece of infrastructure
for TeXshop.
