[OS X TeX] How to remember preview parameters ?

A somewhat related issue to the recent request by Alain Schremmer:

Is there a way that TeXShop remembers the preview parameters of each open file, when they are different for each file ? I mean, Magnification and Display Format.

There is a situation where this need appears naturally, and I think it should be rather common; anyway, I will tell you just my own practice.

When preparing a conference talk, I work on two files: the text of the talk (with perhaps some auxiliary material), which sometimes prefigures a regular paper, and the slides (with "beamer" package). I work in parallel in both of them: sometimes you think first of what you want to say, write down a sketch, and then you think how to organize the information on the slides; but sometimes it goes in the reverse order. I need to view the two files at the same time (hence, using the "article" mode of "beamer" is not an option). The talk file is a regular file, which has Magnification=175, and Display Format=Multipage. The slides file is better viewed with Magnification=Fit to window, and Display format=Single page. In my experience, when quitting TeXShop without closing the windows and restarting it (so that the files open again), only the parameters for the talk file are retained, and the slides file is shown using these. Each time I have to re-select them for the slides file...

It would be nice if I knew how to do this... provided it is possible!
