[OS X TeX] strange behavior

Howdy,

It's not the spell checker, it's the automatic correction. The Spell Check as you Type just underlines what it `thinks' is incorrectly spelled, the Automatic Correction changes it behind your back, which you don't notice, and you can end up with really bad problems (on my iPad it once changed `emacs' to `emasculate' which I certainly didn't mean to say).
