[OS X TeX] about setting up texlive fonts for XeTeX use

Hi,

this is just to mention that the recently released luaotfload-tool
2.7-fix-3 which is on CTAN but perhaps not yet on the mirrors
from which an update via TLU can be made has a new way of
indexing fonts which avoids duplicates in case for example
symlinks are used.

This means that the method of doing

ln -s /Library/TeX/Root/texmf-dist/fonts/opentype ~/Library/Fonts/TeXOpenType

ln -s /Library/TeX/Root/texmf-dist/fonts/truetype ~/Library/Fonts/TeXTrueType

to make all opentype/truetype fonts inside the texlive/mactex
tree visible to XeTeX hasn't anymore an impact on increased font
database for LuaTeX (which indexed automatically aready the fonts
in texlive/mactex locations *and* the ones in specific mac os
locations like ~/Library/fonts)

I experimented this following suggestions by Herb Schulz (by
private mail) and Zdeněk Wagner during a thread on the texlive list
last May during pre-test period

http://tug.org/pipermail/tex-live/2016-May/038351.html

I was worried that LuaTeX then had a bigger font database with many
duplicates, but now the new luaotfload handles this in a smart way.

Best,

Jean-François
