[OS X TeX] TexShop parens enclosure

Thanks Herb. Obviously I have something really wrong -- neither works and I have copied the replacement string directly from your email.

Incidentally typing _ goes to _{} and similarly for ^ but " does not go to ``''. So, some of the bindings seem to work and others not and I am miffed...
