[OS X TeX] Install fail

Howdy,

I assume that you used Migration Assistant when you got the new MacBook
Pro. How long ago was the Fink distribution installed? Please run

file `which tar`

and see if it can even be executed under Yosemite.




/sw/bin/tar: Mach-O executable ppc


and yes, it does work when I test it.
