[OS X TeX] I can’t see what I’m doing wrong…

Thank you sir… I am slowly working my way through the 846 page LaTeX.pdf from 2013.
Just like learning the Mac OS… including some internals<grin>

FWIW I recall working with Lian Zerafa and Marc Bloore on a TeX implementation for the Mac SE.
Long time ago that was…..
