Dear Herb,

many thanks for your response.

Following an automatic message that a new TeXShop version was available, I just upgraded to TeXShop 3.51, nothing else.

Andrea

After upgrading, problems appear in the bibliography and it seems to me, that this could be related to French accents in authors' names. At approximately the first occurrence I get the following:

Howdy,

What do you mean by `after upgrading'? Did you simply upgrade TeXShop to version 3.51? Did you use TeX Live Utility to update the TeX Distribution? Did you just install MacTeX-2014?

Good Luck,
