Thanks, Herb for sharing the news with us. Hermann Zapf has left an indelible mark on all of us, even those who are not aware of him.

Howdy,

I just found out that Hermann Zapf, one of the great Type Designers of the 20th Century, has passed away.

You may know him for the Zapf Dingbat fonts as well as Zapfino but he was also the person who designed Palatino, one of the great modern fonts and several others.

I suggest you read `Alphabet Stories' by Herman Zapf for some history and enlightenment.

Good Luck,

Herb Schulz
