[OS X TeX] Disaster

I work on two computers, an iMac with El Capitan and a MacBook Air with Yosemite. Both have TeXShop 3.52.

I’m working on the second edition of my congruence book (which lives in Dropbox) and all of a sudden
neither machine can typeset it properly.

On my iMac, the TOC is completely wrong, see attachment. Part II is repeated as part of Part I.

On the  MacBook Air, the book does not typeset: \TextOrMath is an undefined command.

Trouble.
