[OS X TeX] errors in MacTeX2014 using XeLaTeX under Yosemite GM 3.0

The output the command is as follows:

zbodeMac-mini:~ job$ kpsewhich texmf.cnf

/usr/local/texlive/2014/texmf.cnf

Yes, texmf.cnf is right at the place you gave: /usr/local/texlive/2014/
And, another texmf.cnf file is also in its right place:
/usr/local/texlive/2014/texmf-dist/web2c/

The MacTeX2014 in my mac is a full installation with all the packages
updated, and before my installation of MacTeX, I have already uninstalled
the previous TeX release following the instructions at:
http://www.tug.org/mactex/uninstalling.html . So I am really confused why I
have this problem...
