[OS X TeX] Danger?

Hi, George and everyone.
I don't know. But I have been running the Public Betas (now at #4) on a new partition, downloaded MacTeX 2014 while running the first beta, and it worked fine from the start. It continues to work.
I think Apple got a lot of feedback from folks running the betas. I had various bits of software that didn't work prior to version 4, but everything seems to work now. My perhaps naively optimistic take is that this version of OS X is going to be less buggy than usual. On the other hand, the iOS 8 upgrade was pretty terrible.
