[OS X TeX] Editor with real-time preview?

I was wondering if there is a TeX editor that provides real-time preview? I
used to use paper to jot down my calculations and then transcribed to LaTeX
documents -- a two-step process (the first step requires some concentration
so I do not want to get interrupted by the extra compiling process). Now
with the computer faster enough, I was hoping a real-time preview could
help simplify the process.
