[OS X TeX] TexShop Pref re console not working/sticking

Howdy,

I have to admit I have no problem when switching the setting back and forth between those two settings. Do you close the Preferences Pane after setting the option? Oh, I'm using OS X 10.9.2 and TeX Live 2013 with all updates.

As a side note, I prefer to always show the Console. The output gives me all the information I need about what is happening as the file is typeset as well as a confirmation that something is happening.
