Hi:
Mac Pro (4,1), Mountain Lion 10.8.5
I downloaded MacTeX.pkg 30 May 2013 which installed Tex, LaTeX and TeXShop 3.2.6
I have tried to Google this and read lots of documentation but so far no luck.
Also checked the settings for the Keyboard which is set for Canadian English and nothing else.
It looks to me like some sort of mapping problem.
The typesetting of the symbols < and > seem to be Spanish.
So I feel embarrassed to ask this but here goes. This is the source file:
\documentclass[11pt, oneside]{article}
\title{title}
\author{anon}
\date{}
\begin{document}
\maketitle
Our problem is to find all paths of length 1 < n < 10 > 8
\end{document}
This is from the typeset Preview pdf file
So it seems to m that there is some sort of mapping problem for the < and > symbols?
This is the log file
This is pdfTeX, Version 3.1415926-2.5-1.40.14 (TeX Live 2013) (format=pdflatex 2013.5.30) 22 FEB 2014 15:08
