Hi,
I see this faint lines.
I prefer to use a wired optical mouse since the wireless mouse has many disconnects/connects (annoying)
I use a MacBook Pro OS X 10.9.4 and TeXShop 3.26. I also see this fine faint lines and can be removed. I use TikZ. I had rebooted occasionally by ( control command power on switch)

They are fine and faint lines which scroll with the text and can be removed by closing the preview window and re-typesetting. Has anyone else seen this?

While using TeXshop on my book today, the session suddenly quit, forcing me to re-login. Usually, everything (including the mouse pointer and clock) just freezes, requiring a reboot. I am hoping it is not a hardware issue (I don't have Applecare). Sorry for the off topic query.
