> Don't use the TeX Live installer. Rather install MacTeX. You can still get MacTeX 2013 (which installs TeX Live 2013 and also sets the system up for its use and GUI apps). You can get the MacTeX.pkg installer package at <http://www.tug.org/mactex/>. After installing run the TeX Live Utility (found in /Applications/TeX after using the MacTeX install) and follow the directions and you will update to the final version of TeX Live 2013 at the time of the freeze.
