Open an Terminal window and get the getnonfreefonts script from CTAN using curl:
curl -O http://tug.org/fonts/getnonfreefonts/install-getnonfreefonts
then run the install script as admin:
sudo texlua install-getnonfreefonts
Now you have a script installed that can install the fonts for you.
The available fonts are:
arial-urw Arial (URW)
classico Classico (URW)
dayroman DayRoman (Apostrophiclabs)
eurofont Euro symbols (Adobe)
garamond GaramondNo8 (URW)
garamondx GaramondNo8 Expert (Michael Sharpe)
lettergothic LetterGothic (URW)
luximono LuxiMono (Bigelow & Holmes)
vntex-nonfree VnTeX nonfree (Han The Thanh)
webomints Webomints (Galapagos Design Group)
If you want to install all the fonts you can do:
sudo getnonfreefonts-sys —all
Or alternatively, if you just want to install arial-urw then you can do:
sudo getnonfreefonts-sys arial-urw
The fonts will be installed in /usr/local/texlive/texmf-local/fonts
