[OS X TeX] Where is the compiler for Snow Leopard 10.6.8 ?

Yes, all that showed up when I examined the CD for Snow Leopard 10.6.2. But I'm happy that I was able to obtain a working C compiler without the complete Developers Tools and Xcode.
