Sending the crash log will not help very much. It is also unlikely that TeXShop or your hardware are to blame. Try different source files, where the difference should be caused by excluding/including items in the preamble, different type setting engines and replacing cmd-T by pushing the typeset button to isolate the problem, which is most certainly idiosyncratic.
