[OS X TeX] TeX Spotlight plugin

I'm chiming in late here, but this doesn't seem to work here. I installed the new importer, I updated TeXShop, I made sure that no other importer is around. I tried both /Library/Spotlight and ~/Library/Spotlight, I tried mdimport -r ~/Library/Spotlight/TeX.mdimporter, I logged out and in again. Still, my .tex files seem only to get imported by the Rich Text Importer (they're mostly UTF8).

2013-05-23 09:35:46.425 mdimport[300:707] Imported '/Users/simi/Dropbox/Todorov/Kapitel/faustus.tex' of type 'edu.uo.texshop.tex' with plugIn /System/Library/Spotlight/RichText.mdimporter.

Any ideas?

TIA
