[OS X TeX] TeXTable

The GPL TeXTable looks nice but the site <http://jgs.guffin.info/textable/

Does anybody know where a modicum of documentation might be found?

For instance, it mentions "pdflatex'd previews" (I assume LaTeXiT  
like) but I have not been able to figure out how to do it---or most of  
the features it advertises.

Also, I cannot unarchive the source:  "Error 2 - No such file or  
directory." ???
