Howdy,

Does it continue to happen? Is it random (i.e., it happens sometimes but not other times)? Are there other files, e.g., irrationalNumbers.aux, where this happens? What are the permissions on those files? (In Terminal change directory [cd] to the directory with the files, run the

ls -alf *.gz

command and let us know the output.) And do they all appear at once or do they accumulate over time? Does this only happen in certain folders?
