[OS X TeX] Dictation with TeXShop

I can confirm that dictation is not working in TeXShop 3.18 under OS X 10.8.4. I just tried dictating the same two sentences in TeXShop and in Mail. They did not appear in TeXShop and the did appear in Mail.
