And I read: "Find some of my files on back-up" and "How do I find all the TeXShop .sty, .cls, .bst etc files."

Since it really seems to be useless to ask this question with respect to the TeX distribution – it's complete, no reason to care what's in it, TeX finds them all – I naturally assumed that still some private files are missing… And there's even less reason to care what's inside the TeX distribution when "latex works fine." (And also since Migration Assistant works so fine there is also not much reason to care about the private TeX files. When one's TeXing some source which needs any such private files, the missing one will show up – some way.)

Complete and easy to understand sentences would be nice!
