I have a long-standing document built over several years and over 300 pages
where I use several languages inter alia Greek and Hebrew.
Recently I became aware of XeLaTex and decided that it makes switching
languages a bit easier so I decided to try it.
My first effort to compile my old document with XeLaTeX ended with
l.498 \subsubsection{1 Korintiërs 5}

mean? \ldots Paul
The text involved are three paragraphs:
``Paul's word (\emph{\textgreek{porneía}}) means, if strictly taken,
prostitution, or traffic with prostitutes; In the New Testament
however it is regularly used for unchastity and sexual irregularity of
almost any kind\ldots The practice is forbidden in Lev. xviii.8; xx.11
(cf \emph{Sanhedrin}vii. 4)'' \cite[121]{barrett:1971}.
``Sin can and does invade the church, but this, when it happens, is
something unnatural, which can only be mourned''
\cite[123]{barrett:1971}.
``But what does \emph{present in spirit (\textgreek{par`wn dè
t{\textroundcap{\textsyllabic{w}}} pneúmati})} mean? \ldots Paul
refers to his thoughts, and his concern for the Corinthian church;
certainly it is true that these operate in the sphere of the Holy
Spirit, but this is not the primary thought''
\cite[123]{barrett:1971}.
My question: Is it worh while trying to convert this document to be
compiled with XeLaTeX?
If so, are there any good guidelines available?
Regards
Johann
