Gentlefolk,

I've looked through my copies of Mailing List messages going back through June, but didn't find an answer to my question. Apologies for bringing up a topic that was covered some time ago.

A friend who has been using TexShop 2.43 with Snow Leopard has just installed Mountain Lion. His TexShop 2.43 is now acting goofy. I've told him he must install T3xShop 3.11 … but … what should he do with his current 2.43 installation?

1. First delete all TeX-related folders in ~/Library and /Applications/TeX, and then install Ver 3.11? Or

2. Should he just download and install Ver 3.11, and let the 2.43 files get clobbered?

With many thanks
