Didn't:

(1)	Downloaded and installed MacTeX-2011 which is selected in the TeX
Distribution preference panel

(2)	Ran TeX Live Utility which eventually said something about
structures done.

(2)	Tried to compile a file and, sure enouth, got the openout thing:

An hour later, got that fixed.

(3)	Entered

\usepackage{hyperref}%[pdfborder={0 0 0}]

in the preamble

(4)	Tried to compile a file with \url{http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arithmetic
} in the text but got

LaTeX Warning: You have requested, on input line 250, version

(5)	Ran TeX Live Utility which says

keyval2e Not installed 23698 310.1KB

Well, I tried.

Still hopeful regards
