Howdy,

Please go into TeXShop->Preferences->Engine and check your Path settings. With MacTeX the (pdf)TeX setting should be /usr/texbin and Distiller should be /usr/local/bin.

Also, please go into Terminal and let us know what

which pdflatex

returns.
