Load .tex file.
Control+Escape, Cursor right gives you the LaTeX menu.
There is an extensive Help and lots and lots more.

Preferences  let you choose  the default engine (pdflatex, latex, xelatex, texexec); you may be able to add more (I've never tried or needed to do that).
You have an option to use latexmk or not.
You can select a pdf viewer.
It recognizes the "%!TEX root =" mechanism.
And lots more.
