Howdy,

You might try making a symbolic link (or even an Alias --- since TeXShop operates through the higher level OS calls rather than the Unix end of things like the TeX Distribution itself) of the file you keep in the DropBox into the ~/Library/TeXShop/Templates/ folder.

I thought I stated that Lion hides the ~/Library/ folder by default and how to open it by holding down the Option Key while clicking on the Go menu in Finder.
