[OS X TeX] Maintaining the same cite keys for collaboration?

Hello,

I would like to get some advices from the members here: I am in
collaboration with several colleagues for several papers. The drafts they
sent to me contain the cite keys which are different from mine (all of us
have the same collection of papers). This obviously caused some
inconveniences as I had to manually change each of the cite keys. I am
hoping there is a way for this to ease the troubles. Is it possible?

Systems involved: Mac, Windows, and Linux; All people have the same
collection of papers (we are in the same field) but the cite keys are
different.
