[OS X TeX] TeXShop find and replace as macros?

Is there any way to assign a macro to a find and replace pair in TeXShop?  Or even to insert macro code into the Find/Replace panel?

I know that the Find/Replace panel has a history, but I'd like to be able to save search/replace regexes in some way so that in principle they could be used by naive users.
