[OS X TeX] MacTeX installer & OS X version

Hi,

I didn't had the opportunity to test this myself, but reportedly, when trying to
install MacTeX 2011 on a 10.4 box, the installer just fails to work without
giving a clear reason.

Would it be possible to have the installer check the OS X version ans issue and
informative message such as "your version of OS X is too old for this version of
MacTeX, please see <http://www.tug.org/mactex/2011/faq/3-4.html> for an
alternative" when OS X < 10.5 is detected?
