[OS X TeX] Problem with TeXShop's tags

FWIW, I just tried running TS 3.05 and checking for updates.  I was told that 3.05 is the latest, and that I was up to date.

Dick's website "sort of" implies that the 3.xx sequence will be handled by Sparkle, but the above sort of leads me to believe that it's not the case.  ISTR email from Dick that supports this, but ...; maybe he can provide some disambiguation :-}
