[OS X TeX] Altering font size inside a table

Hi all,
I am trying to alter fonstsize inside a table ( tabular environment) without changing the font size for the rest of the document. Naturally I do not want to apply, say {\tiny} to every entry in the table. It is tedious. 

Anyone know any elegant solution to this? I found some fixes in the internet (http://hhh123.wordpress.com/2008/08/06/latex-changing-font-size-for-the-whole-table-entries/ ) but it didn't work for me.
