[OS X TeX] TeXShop vs Ogrekit

I need to change different commands throughout a large number of  
files by a single command but:

When I click on the command to be replaced in the file, the \ is  
selected
But
When I click on the command to be found in Ogrekit, the \ is not  
selected
which makes the copy-paste a hassle.

Is it because
---I am still using TeXShop Version 2.26 (2.26)?
---I am doing something wrong?
