Sure, use one of the latexmk engines and it will automatically happen. If you have the latest version or so of TeXShop look at the Help->TeXShop Tips & Tricks document. The last item there is about enabling and using the pdflatexmk engine (there are also latexmk and xelatexmk engines). Full documentation is in ~/Library/TeXShop/CommandCompletion/ (~/Library/ is the Library folder in your HOME folder) although it might be more than you want to start off.
