[OS X TeX] Bibliography Style File model2-names

Hello,

I am using LaTex (texmaker) as an editor and Bibdesk to manage
references.  I would like to use the style model2-names to format my
bibliography but am running into a problem.  My paper titles have
irregular capitalization, such as listing elements, ie Fe.  This
particular .bst file, which I need to use, changes Fe to fe.  I opened
the .bst file and found the following lines:

FUNCTION {capitalize}
{ "u" change.case$ "t" change.case$ }

and

FUNCTION {format.title}
{ title
  duplicate$ empty$ 'skip$
    { "t" change.case$ }
  if$
  "title" bibinfo.check

Would tweaking one of these functions solve my problem, and if so,
what do I need to do?

Thank you for your help,
Amy
