[OS X TeX] [OT] Gmail and Mailman incompatibility?

Hello all,

This is a bit off topic, but I subscribe to this email list using  
Gmail.  Whenever I send messages to the list (like I did yesterday  
afternoon), I never get a copy of my original post back.  Yes, I  
checked my preferences to see that I have "receive your own posts to  
the list?" set to Yes.

I always used to get back a copy of my posts sent from an edu  
address.  Is there some incompatibility between Gmail and Mailman that  
anyone knows of?
