[OS X TeX] Beamer problem with simpdflatex/dvips

Take a look at /usr/local/texlive/2009/texmf-config/dvips/config/config.ps in a text editor. The last item should start with

% use -t nopaper ...


and the next to last item should start with

% use -t unknown

Originally the ``nopaper'' came before the ``unknown'' and when a strange paper size (i.e., it didn't closely match any of the sizes before it)  occurred the ``nopaper'' was chosen and the ``unknown'' should have been chosen.

I believe this was fixed before TL-2009 was released. Do you do TL-2009 testing and not update to the release?
