[OS X TeX] Inserting TeX code via a contextual menu

Snow Leopard abandoned contextual menu plug-ins and replaced them by Services. In Automator one can create specialized Services. Below is a service that uses an Applescript to type any predefined text in TeXShop.

The Services are stored in ~/Library/Services. It is a matter of taste if one prefers Services or TeXShop macros to do the job.

The typeset results of some TeX code is shown and the code will be inserted at the point where the cursor is by clicking on the corresponding image similar as in the Latex panel. If you had the source code of MathFormulas you could define your own examples, or you could write your own application.
