That's what I called the "AppKit Emacs." It consists of two parts: the  
original source of GNU Emacs 23.1.x plus a corresponding set of  
patches. (On my system it does not work correctly, ESC and C-x have to  
be typed twice to be recognised once by Emacs. No cure so far.)
