[OS X TeX] Latexmk terminates every other time

Thanks Herb,
I'm not sure how best to achieve this. The article is long and
complex: 9065 words in text, 73 in headers, 641 in float captions, 17
headers, 26 floats, 193 math inlines, 580 paragraphs. Advice?
