[OS X TeX] MacTeX 2009 question

I downloaded MacTeX 2009 just now. After unzipping, the package is
displayed as "MacTeX-2009.mpkg", with a size of 1.27G. On clicking,
the welcome screen says "Welcome to the MacTex-2009 installer". Does
this mean it's genuine 2009 version and I could proceed to install the
package to get the latest version?
