[OS X TeX] mactlmgr and a4paper

Hi,

I think that I've a little problem.
After update-all , the paper size is letter  instead of a4paper
(I always work with a4paper)

Now I try to change the paper size with "change paper size" item
  but nothing I 'm always with letter size

I need to write \documentclass[a4paper]{article} to get a document in  
the good format

Where is the problem ?

I 've the last version of TeX Utility, Leopard, TexLive etc ...
