What OS version did you install?  What hardware are you running it on?

WebDav performance in Finder has always been poor, especially if you  
have a slow connection.  Uploading via Safari or Transmit is more  
reliable.

That has not been my experience.  If you can reproduce that problem,  
file a bug report with Apple at http://bugreport.apple.com (free  
registration required).
